Since 2000, I have worked to become a better human.  Through Yoga, Mindfulness, Gardening & Caregiving, I have been able to create a life I enjoy & teach others how they can do the same.

​Intentional living makes for a purposeful life.

Kindness, Joy & Delight are my "go to"' states when I am with others. When I am on my own, it's a practice to make these things my "go to". As humans, when we are left to our own devices, we can drift to the negative & if we are not careful, the stories our minds tell us can slide us in to a stormy sea. Mindfulness is always the answer. Bringing the awareness to the moment. Pausing to what is truly real & finding gratitude in the small & big things that matter.


I worked in healthcare for 18 years in clinics and as an administrator, I've practiced Yoga & Mindfulness since 2000 and became an Instructor in 2014,  I received my Mindfulness Facilitator Certification through Mastermind in 2021. I was a Public Speaker Volunteer with the Dallas Country Master Gardeners Association for 10 years. My husband and I became North Texas Master Naturalists in 2020.  The most significant, life changing experience was being a Unites States Peace Corps Volunteer for two years from 1996-1998.

I've been married since 1991 & am still deeply in love with my husband. He & I love to travel & see new places together. Being outside is where I want to be. The countryside, mountains, the beach or just wandering around my neighborhood.
