One of my favorite things about Yoga is the way it makes you feel. After an hour of breathing & movement, you may feel relaxed in the mind & energized in the body. Often, you may even have a new perspective on whatever is going on in your life. It can truly be transformative.
I teach a variety of classes:
* Gentle classes that are great for those wanting to move a little slower.
* Vinyasa Yoga moves with the breath & can create more heat in the body.
* Chair Yoga for those that do not want to get up & down off the floor.
All of these classes pay attention to alignment & the focus is always to breathe & move to the point of sensation, never to pain.
A few times a year, I lead Mindfulness & Yoga Retreats with Retreat in the Pines. This is an all women weekend filled with yoga, mindfulness, great food & wonderful community.
